A Post about Stuff/ Super Mini Game Preview
So, the Sabres are heading down the home stretch towards the playoffs and I have been… well… nowhere to be seen. I apologize for my absence but school has been pretty hectic as of late. I was on a tour last week of the entire state of New York so needless to say, it has been rough finding time to post. As the Sabres head towards the playoffs, I will try my hardest to post as often as possible. For me, the playoffs are unlike any other time for the Sabres. It’s a time full of hope and energy. As the weather gets warmer, there is nothing like some good playoff hockey to compliment the good feeling of spring. Here’s hoping I’m able to post more.
Tonight, the Sabres host the Montreal Canadiens.
The Canadiens are 36-30-7 and have lost 2 straight. They are currently sitting in 7th place in the conference which is one point ahead of Boston in 8th place. This team needs a win tonight. If Montreal hopes to stay alive in the playoff race, 2 points tonight are a must. Look for some offensive spark in the team tonight, as leading scorer Michael Cammalleri is due to return anytime this week. Hearing this positive news should help the likes of Thomas Pleckanec, Brain Gionta and Scott Gomez. This small team will be looking to get a “W” tonight.
At 39-22-10, the Sabres sit nicely atop the Northeast Division and are 3rd in the Eastern Conference. The Sabres have currently won 3 straight games and will look to make it 4 tonight. Fore checking is a must for this team. Hit the corners hard, throw pucks at the net and grind for every last loose puck. If this team wants to win, hard work must be done.
The game starts at 7:30 with Ryan Miller in net for Buffalo and Carey Price in net for the Habs.
Until next time…
